A little about me:

I have been taking photos since I was quite young, having picked up the love of sharing images from my grandparent's bulletin board - pinned down were photos from all the family from the many different places we settled - to learning the craft of photography from my dad, and later, from studying. My first job came with the USC Trojan, my college paper - and my first sale of my photographs. I continued to study, and develop as a photographer through assignments with newspapers and magazines, and now, work on assignment for client specific assignments. Over the last 20 years, I have also developed several series that explore identity, the environment, daily life, family, community.

My goal as a photographer is to capture and share universal experiences, and those experiences unique to communities and people often not 'seen,' so as to have a conversation about life and the human journey with collectors, viewers and supporters.

Collectors and Supporters can find print and products available from the Fine Art and Documentary Portfolios. Clients seeking samples of my work for a special event, assignment based work, or organizational projects, please click on Client Work.
